Katharine L. Harrison

Katharine L. Harrison received her B.S. in mechanical engineering with honors from the University of California, San Diego. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin in mechanical engineering. Her Ph.D. work focused on synthesis and electrochemical/materials characterization of battery materials. She completed a postdoc at Sandia National Laboratories working on next-generation battery concepts. She is currently a senior member of the technical staff at Sandia National Laboratories, where her research is focused on high energy density battery materials.
